Norfolk & Suffolk Wedding Photography – let’s talk about it! I always feel very honoured when I’m asked to be a couples’ wedding photographer. This is, after all, one of the most important days of your lives and I feel humbled that couples choose me to spend it with them. Photography isn’t a job to me. It’s my passion, which I like to think shines through in my work.
My aim is to tell a story with my wedding photography from the beginning of the day to the end. Capturing all of the little details that you have taken months, sometimes years, planning. From the perfume and jewellery to the table decorations and more. But most of all, your day is all about the people, which is what I really love!
Your wedding day is an emotional rollercoaster, from anticipation and excitement through to tears of joy and laughter. On the day, it will be impossible to take everything in. I guess it is true what they say – the day absolutely flies by! Before you know it, you’ll be ending your first day as husband and wife. It certainly did for my wife and I.
I’ve had the pleasure to photograph some of Norfolk and Suffolk’s most spectacular wedding venues. There are certainly a lot of them with more and more wedding venues popping up all the time. My husband and I chose Mark after seeing his work from our friend’s previous wedding. We were blown away by how he captured their special day. So we wanted that for our day too! One of the most important parts of my job is making sure you, the bride and groom, feel at ease in front of the camera. This is where my years of dealing with people comes into its own!
It’s not an easy thing to do. Personally, I hate being on “the other side”. My laid-back style helps even the most camera-shy couples enjoy their day. Although, if it’s something that particularly worries couples, I do suggest that they might want to have an engagement or pre-wedding shoot to get in the mood!
My wedding photography style is very natural. I particularly enjoy natural light wedding photography – you don’t need to have a sunny day or spend hours photoshopping a picture to create mesmerising outdoor (or indoor) shots! So if you’re looking for strong filters, special effects and heavy editing, then I am probably not for you.
At our pre-wedding meeting, we will run through the timings for your day, your list of “must have” photos and any dos and don’ts! Overall, the most important thing is that you enjoy your day and take things at your own pace.
When you return from your Honeymoon, you will sit down together and look back on your perfect day from beginning to end, and everything in between.
Wedding photography shouldn’t be about settling for second best. After all, your photos and memories are all that you will have to remember the day.

Mark did the photos for our wedding on 31.08.19 and we couldn’t be happier. Mark’s communication was fantastic throughout the whole process from the initial telephone call, to meeting up and the emails sent were all very professional, but also friendly and personal. He blended in so well on our wedding day, even though we only had a small gathering, he didn’t get in the way and some of the photos we has no idea he had taken and the candid shots are amazing.
Mark is very personable whilst remaining professional. He made everyone feel at home in front of the camera and made sure everything was just right before taking the photos. We have since received our photos and they are beyond perfect, everything we wanted was captured and many many more off the cuff shots that we hadn’t even thought to have done were too. Mark captured our wedding day perfectly. I was worried that the pictures wouldn’t look as special as it was a very cold and grey day. What we got was the complete opposite! Mark used this to his advantage and got some amazing pictures.
He is incredibly easy to work with and makes you feel so at ease. He takes into consideration all your wants and wishes and we can honestly say he fulfilled every one of them.

After knowing Mark for many years and seeing his work, there was no doubt in my Husband’s and my minds that we would have anyone else photograph our wedding day. Mark kept in touch with us throughout the build up to our special day. He captured every special moment and thought of ways to make particular photos that we wanted happen. Mark photographed our wedding in September 2017, and all I can say is wow! The photos we are left with are absolutely unbelievable. Mark captured the day perfectly and far exceeded all expectations. He is patient and friendly, which was so useful when trying to coordinate group shots! We had Mark photograph our recent wedding. He started at the church before the arrival of the groom and guests and was with us all day until the last dance, as we discussed in our pre-wedding meeting. Mark took all of the pictures that we requested, group/family shots, as well as informal shots throughout the day of our guests and of elements of our wedding decorations etc. using his own artistic skill. We have a wonderful collection of photos to remember our special day by. When we first viewed them, we were blown away and surprised by some of the things he had captured. We are so pleased we picked Mark to be a part of our special day and capture the memories that we will treasure forever.
Mark took our lovely wedding photos. He is very friendly and polite. Leading up to the wedding he was very good with communications. We had a meeting with him a couple of months before where he made sure all details were correct and gave us a run through for everything on the day.
We were so glad we found a photographer who we felt comfortable with. All of our photos were sent to us within a week, which was brilliant. The quality of photos was amazing and as a result, we had a few canvases made using photos he had taken. High recommended. Would certainly use him again and recommend to friends/family.
Mark managed to capture our special day and provide us with a set of photos that we will cherish forever. He was able to organise all of our photos and guests to make the challenge of getting them all done in a short period of time easy and hassle free. Mark even stepped in to sort out dodgy looking button holes and was there whenever he was needed.

We used Mark for our wedding in August. We had our photos taken in the woods. Unfortunately for us, the weather was not on our side. However, the rain and muck didn’t deter Mark from laying down on the floor in his best clobber to take some lovely photos! He also bought two large white umbrellas, so we could use them to shelter from the rain and actually made a lovely feature for our photos. All in all, a great service.
