Kimberley Hall | Norfolk Wedding Photography |Lily & Michael’s Wedding Day
The weather was a mixture of sunshine and showers a few weeks ago at the amazing Kimberley Hall for Lily and Michael’s wedding day, but this didn’t dampen the spirits at all. One of the biggest things couples worry about when planning their wedding is the weather! It’s the same when planning events and even I have to reminded that there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it!
The couple had booked me from bridal prep through to first dance – so I was there to capture their whole wedding day for them.
I always enjoy the early preparation pictures, the nervous anticipation blended with excitement and an element of panic all combined can produce some great shots and it’s a great time to put the bridal party at ease so they can get used to the camera.
The ceremony was in the grand music room in the house and due to some untimely showers we decided to do some of the group photos on the wonderful main staircase.
Whenever the rain eased we dashed back outside to make the most of the fabulous grounds Kimberley Hall has to offer.
The reception and meal saw the bridal party move through to the main function room, decorated with beautiful tall arrangements on each table.
A Touch of Magic!
Edd Crafer was there to add a little bit of magic during the photographs and into the evening, sometimes it’s a nice idea to consider entertainment between the ceremony and the meal as depending on timings this can be upto a few hours.
When any couple speak to me about their wedding photography I am always very excited to find out their venue, I have photographed many special places over the years but some stand out as my favourites, Kimberley being one of them. Equally there are still many I am yet to photograph and tick off the list.
When a photographer knows a venue well they will know all of the best places for photos and the best time to get the shots with the sun etc. This venue has it all, wonderful gardens, hidden corners and not one, but two stunning staircases!
My time with this amazing couple was so enjoyable, watching the day of their dreams unfold infront of me and being a part of it was a great honour.
