Summer Wedding | Suffolk Wedding Photography | Briony & Lee
The perfect summer wedding! I always say that couples, and often their families, spend months and years preparing for a wedding. Making sure that the tiniest of details are perfect and reflect the personalities of the bride and groom.

Briony and Lee created an aisle of beautifully decorated lanterns outside the church at Hinderclay in Suffolk where they become Husband and Wife nearly two years ago. It was harvest time when they tied the knot. It was lovely to incorporate some wheat into their floral displays and the obligatory corn field shots (but more of that later!)

“Mark was the photographer for my wedding and could not have been better! He was very helpful and understanding as we had two large families and a big list of photos to get done. But most of all he made sure he got plenty of photos of me and my beautiful wife”

After the ceremony at the local church, the couple made their way a mile down the road in style in a Beauford to their reception.

The venue was decorated with the same wild flowers and corn floral displays with hints of red.

On the top table was a beer mug for the groom with the lettering “I do whatever she says”. This did make me chuckle somewhat. Lee was only too happy to drink his first pint as a married man from it though!

ALL ABOUT FAMILY
As Lee said in his quote above, the wedding was all about family. Exactly as it should be! There were lots of children laughing and playing. I even managed to snap them in action.

It wasn’t just the kids who were up for a laugh either! It’s usually the bride who is lifted up, but no, not this time!

They took advantage of the fantastic weather and enjoyed a barbecue as their wedding breakfast supplied by The Rustic Catering Company. Drinks were on tap from a converted horse box bar provided by The Wonky Donkey Mobile Bar.

After the wedding breakfast and jollities, I whisked the bride and groom away for some photos of the two of them. There was a stunning field of golden wheat next to the reception where I snapped away as they enjoyed some time on their own away from family and friends.

A particular favourite of mine is this last photo of Briony and Lee holding hands in the field.
