Park Farm Hotel | Norfolk Wedding Photography | Claire & Joshua

It was the last day of what had been a very sunny August for Claire and Joshua’s wedding at Park Farm Hotel in Hethersett, but the threat of rain hung over us.

Claire was busy being attended to by her make up lady from Amanda Steed Makeup Artist when I arrived. The bride tribe were busy enjoying a glass of what looked like orange juice. Although, I had my suspicions that there may have been some Prosecco involved and why not?

The hotel room looked like a scene from the film ‘The Hangover’ with various lady items discarded across the floor! Even more strangely, a mattress was resting in the bath! Apparently the girls had stayed there the night before and this mattress was surplus to requirements.

THE BRIDE SQUAD

The girls, including Mother of The Bride, had some photos in their bridal dressing gowns in the garden outside of the room. Then again when they were all dressed and ready to escort the fabulous Claire to the ceremony.

It was a very intimate ceremony with just close friends and family. The room was filled with tears of joy from a very emotional bridal party and maybe even a tear from the groom?

The weather held out and we were able to have the family shots and the confetti straight after the ceremony with drinks in the sunshine.

Both Bride and Groom work at Redwings. Therefore, it felt appropriate that the cart should be part of a picture or two!

Park Farm has some great gardens and an avenue of trees lining the driveway, which always makes for a great picture.

Claire and Josh have a mutual love of Gin. The table centre pieces were homemade and certainly evidence that several bottles had been consumed in order to have these illuminated and decorated around the tables.

The guest’s wedding favours were miniature bottles of Claire and Josh’s homemade Sloe Gin, which I was lucky enough to sample! As a big Gin fan, I was very impressed. It was a while before I was able to try my bottle and I just had to email them to let them know how good it was.

Some parties you can’t help feeling sad about leaving.
