Lenwade House | Norfolk Wedding Photography | Hannah & Steven

This summer has given us a real mix of sunshine and showers! It was an unpredictable day for Hannah and Steven’s wedding at Lenwade House Hotel a few weeks ago. As the day went on the weather decided to stay dry –  thank goodness for that!

Lenwade House is a large private hotel just a few miles from Norwich set in several acres of mature gardens with the willow tree lined Wensum running through them. They have a large, permanent marquee perfect for weddings at Lenwade. This was dressed fabulously in the couples colour scheme.

Wedding cakes with peach flowers on it. Cakes is on a table with cake knife and a small vase with peach flowers in it.

With both the bride and groom getting ready in separate parts of the hotel, I was able to jump between the bridal prep photos and the groomsmen before the ceremony held in the hotel.

I have photographed weddings before at Lenwade but not for some time, which is how it goes with wedding photography. Some venues you see regularly and some not so, but it’s always great working with a team who know you well.

Wowing the Guests!

After the ceremony, drinks were served and the celebrations began with Nick Twist Magician wowing the guests as well as producing some pretty cool balloon models for the younger guests.

I managed to steal the bride and groom away from the crowd for 10 minutes so we went for a stroll down by the river for some couple shots. This is such a great excuse to escape, breathe and enjoy a moment together. Enjoy this as you are unlikely to get another one until the guests have made their way home.

While we were busy enjoying the magic a small vintage caravan appeared! This turned out to the star attraction outside – a vintage caravan Photobooth from Snappers at Stalham. Packed full of wacky props, the queue went on forever!

Hannah and Steven had a fun packed day, meticulously planned. It was the day that they wanted, the way they wanted it.
