Glebe Farm Barn | Norfolk Wedding Photography | Lucy & James
It’s been a while since my last blog, due partly to the craziness of Christmas and New Year and before we knew it January had been and gone. December was a month of Christmas parties with pop up event photography and two weddings.
The first of my December weddings was before Christmas at Norwich Castle for the I do’s followed by Glebe Farm Barn.

Lucy and James had chosen Per Sempre for their wedding cars, a 1920’s Dodge paired with a beautiful White Bentley.

I met Lucy & James at the Castle for their ceremony in the gallery, a very grand, almost stately setting deep inside the castle.

Although sunny, there was a bitter bite to the wind, which meant this wasn’t going to be a day for a lot of outdoor shots!

Because the sun was due to set around 3.30pm, I encouraged a rather cold and reluctant couple to have a few pics in ‘the golden hour’ outside the castle before jumping into the warm car to travel to Glebe Farm Barn. By which time, the sun was already down.

Sensational Wedding Venue
This was my first time at the venue and what a cracker it is! A traditional large beamed barn surrounded by other converted farm buildings, perfect as it turned out for weddings at any time of year! Decorated with hundreds of twinkling fairy lights, seasonal foilage and the very festive smell of hot mulled wine greeting you at the door.

The mulled wine reception went down a storm before we were ushered into the barn for the meal and later on the party!
Winter weddings can be fabulous too, the crisp weather, the gorgeous sunsets, the romance of candles and warm lighting and of course sharing the warmth and best wishes from your family and friends. Just remember to pack an extra layer or two!

A few more of my favourites from the day… and if you’re looking for your wedding photographer, then drop me a message. I’d love to hear about your wedding plans!
