Hunters Hall

Hunters Hall is a rural wedding venue in the heart of Norfolk. Situated a few miles from the town of Dereham, Hunters Hall has a farmland setting, which is apparent from its decor. That said, it has been beautifully converted to retain many original features with exposed oak beams and brickwork making excellent photo backdrops and adding to that rustic feel.

As part of the Hunters Hall wedding packages, you can have use of their many cottages. They even have a gorgeous Pamper Lounge for getting ready in. It has a real chilled out kind of feeling about the space, so you and your wedding party can get ready at ease.

FEEL LIKE A MILLION DOLLARS!

I must say, I love the Hollywood style lights around the mirrors. They sure do make you feel like a celeb. That’s before your Make Up Artist and Hair Stylist have even worked their magic! They just seem to literally “light up” the room (no pun intended!). The lights have the ability to really create an atmosphere or maybe that is just the bubbly champers talking! Who knows?

Definitely a plus point for the venue though!

As far as saying your vows go, they are a licensed wedding venue, so you can spend the whole day there. Everything all under one roof so they say! They have a couple of different options for the ceremony. You can say your I do’s in the Park Room which has a more light, airy and intimate feel to it. That is the photo on the above left just to give you an idea of it.

Or the other alternative is to become Husband & Wife, Wife and Wife or Husband & Husband in the Victorian Barn. That is the above right photo. It is decorated with cartwheel lights and features some real treasures of the Norfolk countryside on the brickwork walls.

And now to the food…

A Hunters Hall wedding offers flexibility on the location of the Wedding Breakfast and Evening Reception, by either using the Victorian Barn or the Starlit Barn.  This is where the venue have seamlessly merged the old rustic wedding feeling with a new modern theme. Adorned with waterfall chandeliers and a sparkly starlit ceiling (hence the name), the Starlit Barn oozes romance!

The great outdoors

Finally, with all of the above, what would a rural wedding venue be like if we didn’t talk about the outdoors! Hunters Hall have their own private gardens with some lovely features like the pergola (fantastic for the confetti runway!) and archways. The gardens continue into the picterque Norfolk countryside, where you may even find some cows!
