Festive Photo Shoots
A few weeks ago I spent the day at our local preschool doing a pop up family photo shoot. In fact, it was a bit of a whole family affair, as the wife and kids came too!

It was a crazily busy day with a different family every fifteen minutes, with the exception of a couple of cancellations on the day. These were actually a blessing, just to be able to take stock and drink a bit of more of my already cold cup of coffee! Does anyone else seem to have an issue drinking a whole cup of coffee while its hot? Maybe it is something that happens when you have children!

24 families + my own
We cleared away the little tables and chairs and transformed the preschool pretty quickly into a studio – white back drop with multiples props ready for use if required.

In total, I snapped photos of 24 families plus my own on Saturday 23rd November in Harleston. It wasn’t my first time at the preschool. I’ve been doing the pop up shoots for the last few years, which actually began when our Daughter was at the preschool. It is also where our Son will go in a year or two’s time. He’s still only little as you can see.

From the more traditional family shots to some festive fun and boys in their football kits, we had it all! At these pop up shoots, I usually give families the option to have their images printed off there and then on the day (that was my wife’s job!) or to have all of the images sent across to them via Dropbox.

Meanwhile, our Daughter was excellent at getting the smaller subjects attention and keeping them amused. Meanwhile our Son was checking out the surroundings and toys ready for next year. In fact, he seemed pretty ready to leave him there already!

If you’re looking for your own family photo shoot, either on location (sounds very exotic!) or in a studio setting, then do get in touch! If you’ve left things to the last minute for Christmas (like I have!), I also offer gift vouchers. Have a very Merry Christmas and enjoy the time off if you’re lucky enough not to be working.
