Nestled on the edge of the River Yare in Surlingham, Coldham Hall is a hidden gem as far as riverside wedding venues go. It’s feel is relaxed and informal with spectacular river views coupled with a cosy pub for the more intimate gatherings. You approach the Pub by a quiet, narrow country lane and Coldham Hall really is the end of the road.

If the weather is kind to you, there is the option to get married outside on the lawn with the river in the background. Definitely some photo opportunities to be had here!

Or if you are getting married out of season, the pub is a cosy, traditional tavern with flexible space indoors and out. They are more than happy to close the pub to the public so that you can enjoy exclusive use for the day.

Coldham Hall has space for a marquee within the grounds, enabling you to make the best of both worlds.

no limits

Unlike some other wedding venues, you are free to choose your own wedding suppliers here. You wont be limited to the venues preferred ones. Create a bespoke wedding that you want with no limitations.

The Riverside lawn is perfect for a summer wedding. Loads of space, areas to chill out, enjoy the sun and dance!

Why not arrive by boat? They have their own private moorings right outside! A wedding regularly attracts plenty of waving and cheering by passing well wishers on the river cruisers.

With plenty of outdoor space – if the weather permits, why not take the party outside?

If you are looking for venue where you can have the day you want, your way, Coldham Hall would be well worth considering. Sometimes these smaller venues are worth a visit to see for yourselves. One thing is for sure, you will receive a very warm welcome.
